Step out and connect face-to-face with other families navigating the incredible journey of the early postpartum period in our welcoming, safe, and inclusive circle. The Lactation Lounge, is a space to gather in person to share, listen, and build connections with other parents caring for newborns. This is your opportunity to delve into the topics that matter most, from postpartum healing and maternal well-being to the intricacies of infant sleep, the joys and challenges of feeding (breast, bottle, and pumping), and even preparing for your return to work. For those welcoming a new sibling, we offer a supportive space to explore the unique dynamics and adjustments involved. More than just a discussion group, The Lactation Lounge is a chance for new parents to get out of the house and access invaluable support from the Lactation Network within The Nest Family Resource Village. Take advantage of the opportunity to ask your burning questions and receive expert guidance in a supportive environment. We also provide an infant scale for tracking your baby's growth and clean toys to support those important tummy time sessions. Come join us in person and build your village at The Lactation Lounge – a place for connection, support and shared experiences in the heart of Grass Valley. Where we meet: The Lactation Lounge is open Wednesdays 11-12:00 at 156 South Auburn St, Grass Valley. All newly postpartum families are warmly welcomed to this FREE group, a direct result of the caring donations made to The Nest Family Resource. This is community support in action!
