Looking for a childbirth education class, but short on time? This class is an ACCELERATED class on labor, birth, and the first week postpartum with Cristy Solomon, Licensed Midwife. This 5-hour class is split over 2 evenings and will review: -Stages and Phases of Normal, Physiologic Labor & Birth -Building Your Support Team -Preparing your Mind and Body for Birth -Natural Comfort Techniques -Medical Pain Management Options -Navigating Changes to Your Plan (Inductions, Medical Interventions, Cesareans) -Partner Tips -Immediate Postpartum After Birth Consider this class if: -You’re looking for a refresher course -You require a reduced time or financial commitment, but still desire a basic childbirth education course -Are curious about learning the essentials of labor and birth from the perspective of a midwife This class does not include breastfeeding and newborn care. Please consider adding one of our stand alone, one-time classes for additional information for planning for postpartum offered online and in-person. If you're in financial need, please reach out for assistance options. This class will meet in-person in Nevada City.
