HERBALISTS AND HOLISTIC PRACTITIONERS
Certified Clinical Harbalist
Rising Meadow Wellness
Laura Bairstow is a Certified Clinical Herbalist with extensive training and experience in the Vitalist tradition of herbal medicine. Her practice offers holistic consultations and therapeutic strategies that lean on the healing powers of diet, lifestyle, herbs, and nature. In contrast to conventional medicine, Vitalist herbalism avoids suppressive therapeutics, which only drives symptoms deeper into the body and does not address the root causes of ailments or diseases. Instead, Laura digs to the root cause of a condition and relieves it from the source, aiming for a true cure rather than a superficial treatment. It is not a one-pill-fits-all approach, but rather she assesses each individual on his or her unique constitution and make-up, and tailors each herbal formula to match their specific needs.
Through Rising Meadow Wellness, Laura strives to create a space where holistic medicine can integrate into anyone’s existing medical care system, while inspiring self-empowerment and connection to one’s Best Self and the world around them. Her practice spans treatment of minor ailments to chronic diseases, including mental health support, bloodwork interpretation, and nutritional guidance.
Laura became a mother in 2022 and is continually exploring the ever-changing landscape of motherhood. She understands first-hand the importance of health and nourishment needed during the perinatal period and is especially dedicated to supporting mothers and caregivers with young babies and children. She looks forward to working with you and your family.
KAYLA PHILPOTT, RN
Bloomfield Essentials: Empowering Families with Holistic Healthcare
Kayla has 10 years of acute medical experience and a strong passion for empowering families with a holistic approach to healing. Her specialized training and education include women’s health and fertility, homeopathy, mindfulness, coaching, aromatherapy, and herbalism.
“Having gone through two consecutive miscarriages, observing friends' difficulty with conception, and considering the decreasing fertility rates worldwide, I've developed a strong passion for women's health and fertility. As a result, I've pursued specialized training in this field.”
Factors Contributing to Infertility and the Benefits of Homeopathic Treatment
Infertility is caused by several factors, including long-term oral contraceptive use, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, high-sugar inflammatory diets/modern lifestyle, and delayed attempts at conception. Homeopathic fertility treatments can offer quick and effective results, such as improved cervical mucus, regular menstrual cycles, increased sex drive, and reduced PMS symptoms.
The Fertility Protocol: Developed and Adapted for High Success Rates
In 1999, Australian Homeopath Liz Lalor developed a fertility protocol resulting in 391 babies born out of 445 women (87.8%) within four months of its use. Homeopath Melissa Kupsch has since adapted and implemented this protocol with similarly successful outcomes. Many couples who had previously experienced multiple unsuccessful IVF/IUI treatments, recurrent miscarriages, endometriosis, PCOS, amenorrhea (no periods), and anovulation (not releasing eggs) have benefited from this approach. With an increased demand for treatment, Melissa developed a course to teach this protocol to other healthcare providers, including myself, to help more couples achieve their dream of starting a family.
“While fertility is my primary focus, I am equally passionate about helping people overcome obstacles to healing and educating families about holistic healing approaches that can be implemented at home. My goal is to help you make informed decisions so that you can take control of your health and go from just surviving to thriving.”
