- Online Class
In this introductory workshop, Motherhood Nutrition & Wellness, Angelica Baraona, a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, will guide you through ancestral nourishing traditions that support healthy conception, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. The discussion will focus on how to sustain a traditional foods diet in our modern world, providing optimal nutrition for Mother & Baby. Join this educational seminar and learn how to set a foundation for lifelong health and how to obtain key nutrients from real foods, as well as easy swaps for everyday application. We host Angelica each season for an ongoing discussion on nourishing diets. A companion, follow along cooking video is also included to walk you through her suggested seasonal menu. Angelica Baraona is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (Nutritional Therapy Association Graduate, class of 2020) who believes in the wisdom of ancestral traditions, and wants to empower Mothers and their families to find health and well-being through the modern-day application of these often-forgotten customs. Dedicated to using food for healing, Angelica advocates and educates on the importance of sourcing sustainable, local, nutrient dense foods, and on cultivating the necessary lifestyle practices to foster innate healing. Angelica's practice serves to support Mothers during the perinatal season, and beyond, to establish a foundation of lifelong health that they can pass along to their children and families.
We know life happens and changes need to be made. For the support of our staff, we ask that you make them at least 24 hours before class.
