Taking care of sensitive kids can be SO challenging.
When day to day things create huge emotional response over and over again, it feels really draining to just get through the day.
This class will help you understand your child’s sensitivity more clearly and also give you plenty of practical tools to feel more ease in your relationship with your child.
In this 2-part class we will cover:
          - The importance of tending to your emotional needs
          - How to create space to take care of yourself
          - Different kinds of sensory sensitivities
          - Having compassion VS codependence of hard feeling
          - Tools for healthy emotional expression in the family system
          - Movement and touch activities to support resilience in kids
          - Looking for and reflecting your child’s gifts

Class meets January 17th AND 24th from 2:00-4:00 on Zoom

This class is taught by Ashley Newton, a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, teacher, and child development specialist. Her studies include a BA in Child Development, a MA in Infant Mental Health, and a certificate as an Infant Development Movement Educator through The School for Body Mind Centering.
