Class description: Navigating changes in your relationship after baby is an often overlooked aspect of the journey to parenthood. You may have gone into parenthood thinking that your relationship would withstand the normal changes after birth or perhaps that having a baby would bring you and your partner closer. But it's very common for couples to struggle after having kids. In this workshop we will discuss common themes that couples face and help you and your partner feel less stressed and more connected. We will help you learn ways to communicate and understand one another's needs more effectively, feel more equipped to handle conflict, and maintain your friendship and intimacy. This workshop is perfect for expectant couples or parents with children ages 0-3.About the facilitator: Kate is a life coach and doula whose work focuses on offering coaching and healing to women during the postpartum period.
